Project Beginnings
Originally, this project was an undertaking by `Kneeling-Glory. It was an entry to a complaint challenge hosted by `thorns. You can read the details here. The project aimed to address one complaint from the dA community every month in 2012.
`JamminJo was an enthusiastic supporter of the idea and prodded `Kneeling-Glory into creating a group for the project. She reasoned that the organization and structure of a group would promote participation and make advertisement of the missions each month easier. She was correct, and so #SolutionsSanctuary was born!
Our Mission
Our mission is to encourage the community to actively seek solutions to some of deviantART users' biggest complaints. We will host activities each month that reflect ideas for getting the community involved in problem-solving. We hope to build a bridge between deviantART members, volunteers, and staff and to act as an idea bank for bringing dA suggestions to the forefront of the community.
Our Method
We will host activities on at least a monthly basis. These activities may include contests, chats, forum discussions, workshops, etc. Each activity will offer an opportunity for prizes in the form of points, subscriptions, features, critiques, prints, etc. The prizes will depend on how many points are in the ~SS-Fund.
